All of a sudden, or so it seems, humankind stands as the beneficiary of some sort of cosmic signaling. Last month, December 16th to be specific, six new FRB signals were detected, originating from the same direction. Notably, this is the only known occurrence in which signals have been found twice sourcing from the same location in space. Cool and amazing, right? What the hell is an FRB?
An FRB is a frequent radio burst. Not specifically stated but implied from this last galactic outpouring is that the bursts repeat. The bursts last only milliseconds, but in that short fraction of a second, they output as much energy as does our Sun in an entire day.
FRBs are not entirely new. Parkes Observatory in Australia first defined the phenomena in 2007 with the isolation of data from the Lorimar Burst recorded on 24 July 2001. In terms of FRB 121102, astronomers identified the object last March, but based upon post analysis of archived data collected in May and June of 2015.
So where is the signaling source and what does it mean to us? FRB121102, in the constellation Auriga, intersects the ecliptic at 24 Gemini 05 (2000).

Astronomers have a knack for poetically stating what new and unusual astrophysical objects might be. This “enigmatic astrophysical phenomenon” most likely is not another civilization’s phone call or and ET text. More likely it is “a burst source associated with a low-luminosity active galactic nucleus or a young neutron star energizing a supernova remnant.” Again, cool and amazing.
The key point not to be neglected is that we are repeatedly bombarded by radio signals from this Geminian object. Can we tune into the bursts?
Presently, FRB121102 undergoes “grounding” from a series of oppositions from Saturn in Sagittarius. A trinity of oppositions from the ringed one line up this year. The first on 26 January with Saturn direct. A second opposition appears with Saturn retrograding on 20 June and the final one comes to pass on 25 October with Saturn direct.
Perhaps Saturn’s efforts will further define the source, document more emanations, and open our galactic awareness. To make it personal, each earthling receives three sets of Saturnian efforts to tune into cosmic vibes from a blasting, powerful source three billion light years away that intends to provide alien insights and trigger evocative thoughts... hopefully in a pure Gemini manner - to inform, engage and offer alternative points of view, and within the alternatives, inspire the alignment of opposing forces. Could these Saturn transits offer an enlightened set of solutions to exclusion and divisiveness on the personal, societal and political fronts?
We have but a few days to wait to find out. As is true with most galactic beaming, we receive the energy, then endure a bit of absorption, contemplation and understanding curve. In the short term, transits from a square point in Pisces seek to invigorate us all to see more, understand in broader terms and receive inspired solutions to long-standing conundrums. On 19 January, Mars exactly squares the FRB. He indicates the need to pause long enough to feel the blast, take a few moments to get behind it, then engage and initiate based upon more processed information and resulting grander insights.
On 27 January Venus squares the radio station, and no doubt through her angling, she assesses the value and merit of the latest radio receptions looking for the good in it. She might also render a bit of a caution that ignoring the obvious or taking galactic broadcasts for granted work against the big picture plan.
Ultimately it appears this will be a good thing for us all... that is to expand our views, overcome tendencies toward mundane myopia, and to stretch to include the latest and greatest insights, sometimes simply by feeling them out without the need for exact and immediate definition. A feeling the way through plan. This encouragement comes courtesy of Chiron in Pisces, who on the 4th of March, also squares the FRB from Pisces. Chiron treats us again early next December as he stations at 24 Pisces 19, in a virtual square to the radio source, whose precessed position in the present should be 24 Gemini 17 (plus or minus a minute or two depending upon an array of astronomical motion considerations).
Will including far-reaching, way out there, universally inspired plans become the norm? “Absolutely,” says Chiron with a glance at his father, Saturn, who nods an assurance and chimes in, ”Naturally, given that it’s all well grounded and founded in the highest of ethics and intentions. I’m not in Sagittarius for nothing right now.”
So as Mars aligns with Chiron in the next days, the personal prescription for healing is to include the newest insights and best information available. Not a time for head in sand sticking. Totally the time for awareness and creating tsunamis of consciousness that lead Earth and its inhabitants to an enduring high tide of consciousness.
